Jessica Jackson is a native Hoosier, proud of her Midwest upbringing. She comes from a diverse family of artists and educators. After studying dance at a performing arts high school, Jessica danced professionally for the NBA and NFL. She attended Butler University and IUPUI, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree as the Chancellor’s Honor Scholar.

Jessica has lived in Atlanta and Miami, working as a graphic designer in the wedding industry and a commercial actor & model.

Jessica has always had an affinity for the arts, and a passion for working with children and animals. In 2009, she found her love for TV hosting, when she was hired to be the host of Purdue University’s ZipTrips™ - a live animal and science-based children’s show -broadcasted on PBS Kids, and streamed to schools from Indiana to Indonesia. Jessica currently works as a fine arts educator for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Arts Everyday Program.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys sports, Zumba, rollerblading, learning about eco-friendly living, and spending time with her family, friends and Miniature Pinscher, “Sushi”.
