MyINDY-TV (WNDY-TV) Spokesperson Official Rules

    1. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules.
    2. No purchase is necessary. Must be a United States citizen and at least 21 years of age to enter. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.
    3. Employees and immediate family members of employees of WNDY-TV, WISH-TV, WIIH-TV and any other sponsors referenced on www.INDYTV.com and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, the “sponsors”) are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Immediate family members include spouses, siblings, children, parents, grandparents and all “in-law” and “step” variations of the afore-mentioned categories.
    4. The winning Spokesperson of the WNDY-TV promotion will cut audio and video material as designated by WNDY-TV. The Spokesperson will attend all media and assigned station/website events, contests, promotions, sales promotions and partner events. The Spokesperson will appear on WNDY-TV, WISH-TV, www.INDYTV.com , www.WISHTV.com , and any other venues as assigned by the station. The Spokesperson will also be assigned to do blogs, text messaging, chat room participation and any other publicity or public relations tasks as required by WNDY-TV.
    5. There will be casting calls during the month of April 2010 at various times and locations to be determined. WNDY-TV reserves the right to add, cancel and/or substitute other locations and times for the Semi-Finals. If you are selected for an interview during the final selection process, you must be willing to meet on a mutually agreed upon day during normal business hours (8:30AM-5:30PM) in mid to late April 2010 (as scheduled by WNDY-TV) as part of the final selection process. The exact date of such interviews may be changed at any time by WNDY-TV in its sole discretion. All dates and locations listed in these eligibility requirements and in the application form are subject to change in WNDY-TV’s sole discretion without notice.
    6. Applications will only be considered if they are complete. You may apply in the following way:
      1. Complete the written portion of the application package as described below and bring it to any of the open calls that will be listed on www.INDYTV.com .
      2. You MUST bring TWO photographs, each clearly labeled on the back with your name and the city/town nearest your home. One must be a close-up, and one must be a full length photograph (clothed). Only one picture can be black and white. These photographs will not be returned and will become property of WNDY-TV. Polaroid pictures are accepted as long as you are clearly visible.
      3. Must have a COPY of a valid drivers license (either Indiana or out of state) AND another appropriate PHOTO ID:
    7. Judges will be looking for enthusiasm, personality and originality. Top candidates will be energetic, fun-to-watch spokespeople who can represent WNDY-TV and www.INDYTV.com on-air and on-line. Top candidates may be required to shoot video, take still pictures with either cell phone or video camera and will be bloggers and/or texters. The expert panel judges will make their decision based on on-camera performance, originality of effort, personality, as well as mastery of web and mobile communication systems.
    8. During April 2010, the winning Spokesperson will be chosen by the expert panel and internet voting and will be announced on WNDY-TV.
    9. Grand prize package is a one (1) year job contract with WNDY-TV (up to $25,000 value) from the time the contract is signed. May 10, 2010 through May 9, 2011, the Spokesperson will be a part-time contract employee of WNDY-TV and will be paid an hourly rate of $24.00 for an annual salary of up to $25,000 for the contract year. The Spokesperson’s working schedule will be determined in advance of each work week by WNDY-TV.
    10. If the winning Spokesperson cannot fulfill the one (1) year employment contract or violates the employment guidelines for the Spokesperson, WNDY-TV has the option to ask the second or third place winner to assume the remainder of the contract. If the original Spokesperson defaults on the contract, the second or third place runners-up will be paid on the same hourly basis for the months remaining in the original Spokesperson contract year.
    11. The Spokesperson agrees to any employment drug screening, credit, criminal background and driving record check.
    12. The winning Spokesperson must sign an employment agreement with WNDY-TV and must satisfactorily perform all services under the agreement in order to be paid.
    13. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
    14. The Spokesperson agrees to neither directly nor indirectly serve/work at any other television station within the Indianapolis, IN designated market area during the year of this agreement and for six months following expiration or earlier termination.
    15. All contestants agree to the use of his/her/their name(s) and likeness(es) in publicity and programming without any
    • additional compensation. By entering this promotion, contestants acknowledge that WNDY-TV, www.INDYTV.com , WISH-TV, www.WISHTV.com , and all other sponsors and venues have the right to publicize and broadcast his/her/their name, voice and likeness, the fact that he/she/they competed, and all matters incidental thereto.
    1. By entering this promotion, each entrant forever discharges and releases WNDY-TV, www.INDYTV.com , WISH-TV, www.WISHTV.com , LIN Television Corporation and its affiliates, sponsors and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, responsibility for property damage, loss of life or personal injury resulting from or in connection with participating in the promotion or from or in connection with use or receipt of the prize(s), however caused.
    2. Valid driver’s license is required to be an eligible winner of this promotion.
    3. All decisions made by WNDY-TV are final and binding.
    4. Contest rules are subject to modification by WNDY-TV at any time and for any reason.
