Zoolala Takes Flight at the Indianapolis Zoo

Indy's best and brightest young, emerging leaders joined for one night of fun to help a good cause: To make the Indianapolis Zoo an even more spectacular place for you, and for the animals who live there.

Saturday night was the very first "Zoolala," held at the Indianapolis Zoo Dolphin Pavilion.

Dolphins were swimming around us and over us, as we tasted the hors d'oeuvres and fine drinks provided by Glazer's, Tastings, Hoosier Momma, Sun King Brewery, Just Pop In, Donatos and more. Beautiful dresses and handsome suits were glamming up the night... then the dance floor became a hot zone by 10:00!

The martini ice sculpture bar probably began to melt at this point, and that's when we saw Donatos pizza boxes chime in. Guests literally started drinking Sun King brews and the pizza became the main focus. The party just got real.

The dolphins were swimming to the beat, especially when The Flying Toasters rocked GNR's "Paradise City."

The Indianapolis Zoo Associate Council, headed by President Aaron Reddington and Event Co-Chairs Adam Campagna and Mary Hanneman, worked with a group of talented rising stars to make Zoolala possible.

The Associate Council looks forward to Zoolala becoming an annual tradition just as the popular Zoobilation event is.
