WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Raymar Morgan had 16 points and 11 rebounds to help No. 14 Michigan State beat No. 3 Purdue 53-44 on Sunday and snap the Boilermakers' 10-game win streak.

Draymond Green added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Spartans (22-7, 12-4 Big Ten), who avenged a 76-64 loss to the Boilermakers on Feb. 9 in East Lansing, Mich.

E'Twaun Moore scored 12 points, and JaJuan Johnson and Chris Kramer scored 11 for Purdue in its first game since losing versatile forward Robbie Hummel. The junior tore the ACL in his right knee last Wednesday against Minnesota and will miss the rest of the season.

Opportunity knocked for Purdue (24-4, 12-4) a day after No. 1 Kansas lost to Oklahoma State and No. 2 Kentucky lost to Tennessee. Instead, the Boilermakers fell a half game behind Ohio State in the Big Ten race.
No. 5 Duke 67, Virginia 49

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Kyle Singler scored 21 points to help the Blue Devils remain a game ahead of Maryland in the ACC heading into their showdown Wednesday night.

The Blue Devils (25-4, 12-2) also got 20 points from Jon Scheyer in their eighth straight, and fourth consecutive victory in the series.

The Cavaliers (14-13, 5-9) lost their seventh straight playing without scoring leader Sylven Landesberg, who sustained a bruised right thigh in Virginia's loss at Miami last week.
No. 20 Temple 65, La Salle 53

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Juan Fernandez sank seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points, Lavoy Allen had 17 points and 20 rebounds and the Owls rolled over their Philly rival.

Temple (24-5, 12-2 Atlantic 10) wiped out a one-point halftime deficit with an 18-0 run to open the second half. Fernandez led the way, hitting four 3s during the game-changing spurt.

Temple also won the Big 5 title with its first 4-0 mark since 1987-88. Winning the city series means as much to the competing schools as a conference title. The Owls can win one of those, also. They are in first place in the A-10.

La Salle (11-17, 3-11) is in danger of missing the A-10 tournament.
Xavier 78, No. 23 Richmond 76, 2OT

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Terrell Holloway scored seven of his 24 points during the second overtime as the Musketeers held on in an Atlantic 10 first-place showdown.

Both teams came into the game as part of a three-way tie with No. 20 Temple for a share of first. Xavier (21-7, 12-2) is trying to win a fourth straight A-10 regular-season title.

The Musketeers haven't lost an A-10 home game since the end of the 2005-06 season, running off 31 in a row. Richmond (22-7, 11-3) brought the A-10's best road record at 5-1.

David Gonzalvez led Richmond with 18 points.
