SHAWNEE, Okla. (CNN/KOKH) - An Oklahoma family has lost its pet, and it's one you might not have a hard time spotting.
Her name is Lucy Sparkles, and she is an 11-month-old kangaroo from Shawnee, Okla.
Her family said she ran off Thanksgiving night, and they've been looking for her and asking for help.
"We're definitely upset, we're definitely scouring the neighborhood and the woods to find her any way that we can," said owner Shayla Menhusen. "I would imagine if anything is hopping through your yard, it's her."
The family is offering a $1,000 reward for the kangaroo's return.
One driver thinks he saw the pet near the freeway south of Oklahoma City.
