KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) - A soccer goal is supposed to trap the ball, not passing animals in the neighborhood.
But that's exactly what happened at a school soccer field in Knoxville.
A young deer was caught in the goal Tuesday morning, entangled in the net. Thankfully, the lucky doe was saved by a couple of good Samaritans.
The two men spotted the trapped animal on the soccer field and immediately sprang into action, cutting the net to free the animal.
The doe wasted no time high-tailing it off of the field.
The rescuers says the deer looked fine and seemed uninjured by her ordeal.
If the fee was enacted as planned in the New Starts application, the expected $555 million in revenue would almost double the amount of taxes and fees motorists currently pay to the state through gas taxes
