Cheers to warmer weather with this take on the classic gin and tonic. A much-needed kick for "the usual," this drink dabbles in savory with a dash of fresh cracked pepper.

Black Pepper G&T
- 1.5 oz. gin
- 1 oz. Wilks and Wilson Tonic
- 1 tbs. fresh lime juice
- 3 twists of a pepper grinder
- Lime garnish
- Fresh thyme garnish
Mix gin, tonic and lime juice with ice in shaker. Mix well and pour into high ball glass. Add fresh pepper and stir 2-3 times. Garnish with a fresh thyme, lime wedge or lime peel.

The university announced Blue III, also known as Trip, on Thursday. He was born Dec. 23 in Indiana. The university's current live mascot, Blue II, remains with the school.
