Hello Indy! I am so excited to be the fifth Face of MyINDY-TV 23! I want to let everyone know a little bit about myself at the start of this new adventure.
I am originally from Saskatchewan, Canada and as a young child my family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. After eight years in Arizona we once again relocated but this time to the place I call home, Indiana!
I began dancing at the age of 3 and at 15 I went to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular when the tour came through Indy. I took a master class from a Rockette that weekend and she suggested that when I was old enough I consider auditioning. I took her advice and I am so proud to be able to say that I spent five wonderful Holiday Seasons performing as a Rockette in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! What a dream come true! I only wish I knew the exact number of eye-high kicks I have done up to this point.
I was most recently seen performing in the National Tour of Monty Python's Spamalot. Our "Spamily" traveled to over 50 different cities in 26 states including Bloomington, IN! I can't forget to mention my time living in Las Vegas performing in the famous Donn Arden’s Jubilee. I have loved getting to see so many different cities and venues but I have to say that we have something special here in Indy.
I love getting to perform locally and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is one of my favorite organizations to work with. I have performed in several of their productions including four years of Yuletide Celebration. I had my first experience performing at Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre in their production of Chicago last year, such a fun time! Other venues include Civic Theatre, Madame Walker, Athenaeum (Bobdirex), and Clowes Hall.
Super Bowl was a great event for our city and I had a blast being involved in some big events. I was one of two trophy models for the NBC awards show NFL Honors. I was also one of Madonna's six goddesses at the top of the halftime show. In between all of my dancing, I found time to earn a degree in Hospitality Administration.
I am so lucky to live in Indy and to have easy access to some of my favorite spots. I live right downtown with my husband and our four legged, furry children. We love experiencing all that Indianapolis has to offer, especially all of the great food and our wonderful museums! I am so excited for this year as the Face of MyINDY-TV 23. Cheers to the new experiences that await, and sharing the fun with all of you!
